  • Vacuum twice a week.
  • Don’t allow smoking in your house.
  1. Mold and Mildew Prevention:
  • Air out damp, humid areas at fequent time duratation. Use air conditioners when possible.
  • Clean bathrooms using products, which can kill and then prevent mold. Use exhaust fans. Don’t carpet the bathroom.
  • Avoid keeping any plant in the bedroom.

  • Clean dishes after eating and clean surface where you had your food after you have eaten and cover food in lid containers.

Pollen is a tiny egg-shaped cell on flowering plants. It can’t be avoided because they cannot be eliminated from the atmosphere. Plants have different timing of pollination, which varies like from year to year.

  • Limit outdoor activities during times of high pollen, such as time of sunshine.
  • Stay indoors during humid when pollen counts are high.
  • Keep windows closed during pollen seasons.
  • Minimize walks in wooded areas or gardens.
  • Check the forecast. Stay indoors when atmosphere is hot, dry and windy days when pollen counts are generally the highest.
  • If possible, stay indoors between 5 a.m. to 10 a.m. when outdoor pollen counts are usually maximum.
  • Wear a mask (such as an inexpensive painter’s mask) when mowing the lawn. Avoid being around freshly cut grass if possible.
  • Take a shower after being outdoors. Wash your hair, and change your clothes to remove pollen that may have in your clothes and hair.
  • Avoid hanging clothes out to dry, as pollen and molds may collect in clothes and hair and can make your allergies worse.
